Overall Purpose of The Job
This role is responsible for ensuring all assigned seafarers as specified by the principals are compliant with reference to Flag State Requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Works with crewing teams across various offices for timely fulfilment of all applicable flag state requirements for all assigned seafarers.
Checks the validity of seafarer's Flag State Documents and monitors the status of Flag State documentation ensuring the Principal's joining schedule is met accordingly.
Share the list of requirements necessary for application when request is raised by crewing operations team.
- Maintains updated file containing summary of applied, released and received applications ensuring documents to be used in Flag State application are clear, complete, and can be accessed through a common available application like ShipSure.
Ensures proper and necessary coordination of technical matters and Flag state requirements with concerned authorities, departments, and specialist teams, both internal and external, to avoid application delays.
Maintains and updates all related databases and files.
Collates and submits to the Accounting Department all official receipts issued by the Flag State Authority for liquidation and ensures that applicable fees, payments, and invoices received from different authorities are also coordinated with the Accounting Department for the transfer of funds.
Attends everyday request for processing by the crewing department and performs other related duties that may be assigned by superiors

Graduate of any four-year course (Bachelor's Degree)
