The SoS objective is the provision of FLS consulting services for the South Section (SC) of the North-South Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-EX) Project (Philippines). The project involves multiple facilities along the alignment (19 stations - one of them a combined at-grade/underground station, one two-tube tunnel of approx./
- 6 km, one depot including OCC facility, substations, and viaducts).
The intended FLS scope refers specifically to providing support on the review of the FLS re-designs, in line with the Philippines Fire Code 2019, NFPA codes and standards, and the Employer's (Department of Transportation of the Philippines - DOTr) FLS contractual requirements, managed by the project Engineer (GCR Consortium), as well as any other documentation related with the Fire Life Safety of the South (SC) section of the NSCR-EX project.
The SoS extends to regular visits to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and to ensure all the FLS items designed satisfy the requirements of the BFP and the Fire Codes as referenced above.
