Job Title:
FINANCIAL REPORTING CONSULTANTJob Description:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Monthly Financial Statement Close and Statutory Reporting Requirements; lead the team in achieving FS Close timelines set by local management and regulators.
Act as the key contact for external auditors, addressing queries/concerns on statutory results, and lead statutory audit activities, including analytical review of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss, preparation of Financial Statements and disclosures.- Drive timely resolution of key issues raised by auditors and reviewers and ensure the completion of Financial Statements within the required timelines set by regulators.
Review deliverables, various FS Close adjustments/accruals, and develop a work plan for monthly reporting requirements of local management to monitor progress and ensure that internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
- Handle period-to-period analysis of byline and operating profit after taxes and variable expenses, highlighting reasons for variances versus prior years and budgets, and perform ratio analysis.
Prepare key management reports such as Audit Committee and Board Meeting Materials, Monthly ExCo Meeting Materials, and Quarterly Financial Review Materials, among others.
Job Requirements:- Education: Must possess a
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
degree Experience: At
least seven (7) years of audit experience or experience in
financial reporting/budgeting/financial analysis- Certifications/Licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Skills: Knowledge and experience in IFRS/PFRS
; proficiency in MS Office applications
; advanced knowledge in SAP and Business Intelligence
; good command of English (both oral and written)
