NOTE:While this is a remote position, it must be based in the Philippines. We do not offer relocation expenses if you are not in the Philippines. Thank you for your consideration.

BASIC JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as a Financial M&A Business Analyst. In this role, you will manage high-value deals, connect buyers and sellers, and facilitate the sale of online business assets. As the primary point of contact, you will guide transactions from start to finish, ensuring seamless deal execution while delivering exceptional client experiences.

This position combines financial expertise, business acumen, and strategic consulting to support sellers in preparing financial statements, analyzing market trends, and providing insights that drive successful outcomes. With a focus on relationship management and data-driven decision-making, you will help business owners achieve their goals while fostering long-term client trust.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage client (both buy-and-sell side) expectations through regular email updates throughout the stages of the project and via occasional Zoom meetings to discuss the process, project requirements and findings, and verification sessions, as needed
  • Prepare and tweak questionnaires based on business model and client requirements
  • Provide a comprehensive system-based audit and document-based verification of monthly and annual financial data and identify red flags, where possible.
  • Perform competitor analysis and related industry research
  • Review marketing information and traffic/user data statistics (e.g., demographics, location, source) and should be able to correlate these statistics to financial performance and provide insights
  • Prepare ad hoc reports or perform ad hoc tasks
  • Assess and develop new models that underpin sound business decisions from a financial and operational perspective
  • Provide financial insights on the business that helps the decision-making process through detailed analysis and reporting (dashboard, visualization) - Perform business analysis and translate it to detailed reports and
  • presentations
  • Outline problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
  • Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of proven track record as a financial business analyst
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple work-streams
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills (dashboard, visualization)
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team with strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
  • Leadership and/or managerial capabilities with previous experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with exceptional reading, writing, and analytical skills; candidates will be asked to complete a diagnostic test to this effect
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
