_Job Description:_
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst with expertise in Systems Thinking to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to review and document the entire workflow of a dual-country organisation for both processes and information flows using a systems approach.
Responsibilities:
- Propose improvements and model the consequences of interventions using a non-linear dynamical system approach.
Design, implement, report, and maintain performance efficiency metrics or other metrics to measure the Performance.- Analyse pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision-makers
Identify marketing strategies to increase profits
- Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic- Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decreases or increases
Improves financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Tracking of actual spend and benefits against plan and forecast, identifying any risks/issues and opportunities to the financial forecast and plan- Prepares project financial status reports and/or project steering
Lead and work with stakeholders to provide robust financial profiles and forecasts that support forecasting and planning processes
- Helping stakeholders to manage within the budget, and identify reasons for over / under spend.
Working to ensure financial decisions are understood and implemented and supported by data.
Key Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, a scientific or field.
3-5+ years experience as an Analyst, with a strong emphasis on applying systems thinking methodologies.
- Solid understanding of process mapping techniques and process improvement methodologies.
Experience in developing and maintaining pricing strategy- Experience in dealing with price fluctuations due to shipping costs and exchange rates.
Commercially minded and strong understanding of business finance and analytics
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse / cross-regional teams.- Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements
Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry best practices.
