Were on the lookout for a Financial Controller to join our expanding team and drive our companys growth!

The Challenge

Our growth is exciting, but the risk of financial mismanagement is real without the right expertise at the helm; thats why we need a dedicated Financial Controller to guide us through this phase. Your role will be key in ensuring that our financial processes are robust, maintaining clarity and control over our finances, our cash flow is predictable, and our compliance is airtight. With your help, we can scale confidently and sustainably.

Day in the Life of a Financial Controller at GT Ecom

• Supervise Financial Reports: Youll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports, complying with accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Manage Budgeting Process: Youll develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, including preparing financial forecasts and monitoring performance.
• Control Costs: Youll analyze costs to find savings opportunities and manage both operational and capital expenditures.
• Implement Internal Controls: Youll create and enforce internal control systems to safeguard financial data integrity.
• Evaluate Financial Processes: Youll review and enhance financial processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Advise on Financial Matters: Youll provide valuable financial insights and advice to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure Compliance: Youll make sure all financial practices adhere to relevant standards and regulations.

30, 60, 90 Day Success Milestones for this role

First 30 Days:

• Focus on understanding the company's financial systems, processes, and key stakeholders. Conduct an initial assessment of existing financial data and reports to identify any gaps or areas needing improvement.

Next 60 Days:

• Develop a detailed cash flow forecast by gathering and analyzing all relevant financial information. Establish the structure for the financial reports, ensuring they align with the company's business needs and objectives.

Final 90 Days:

• Finalize and implement multiple financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets. Present the cash flow forecast and reports to leadership, incorporating their feedback and setting up a system for ongoing monitoring and refinement.

Your Team When You Join Us

You will be working with the Finance team directly reporting to our CEO.

We would love to hear from you if

• You have 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling
• You have created cashflow forecasts, budgeted plans and made financial reports to ensure efficient and effective use of fund for the companies you have worked with
• You have experience using Xero, QuickBooks, SAP or other financial accounting tools
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and financial analysis
• You are precise, data-driven, and detail-oriented
