We are looking to hire a highly reliable and independently working individual as a FInancial Controller that could work for our company for a long time. Ideally we are looking for someone that could work for us full time during Australian EST 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This individual should be able to start immediately and will be willing to go through the recruitment process.
Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Manage cash flow models of the company
Manage a team of bookkeepers- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Ideally work remotely with team in the AU
- Work AU timezone and full time within regular corporate hours
Strong understanding of accounting
- Proven years of experience working as a financial controller/accountant or any equivalent
Works independently and highly trustworthy and can manage to solve problems proactively- Highly reliable and able to hit the floor running
Great communicator and fluent in the English language
- Background in using MYOB and Xero software
Strong MS Excel skills- Experience with heavy transactional environment (F&B industry)High-level
Experience with account management
Basic understanding of tax or government financial requirements- Experience with working remotely
Has their own PC to use and has a stable connection
