Job Description:

As a Financial Controller, you'll lead accounting operations, ensure compliance, and drive financial strategies for growth. You'll deliver accurate reporting, support executive decision-making, and manage audits, cash flow, and tax compliance while mentoring a high-performing finance team.

Job Overview

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  
• Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  
• Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and develop strategic financial plans.
  
• Coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors.
  
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
• Provide financial insights and reports to support executive decision-making.
  
• Implement and maintain financial systems and controls.
  
• Train and mentor the finance team to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  
• Liaise with tax authorities to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance.
  

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role (minimum 5 years).
  
• Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Proficiency in financial management tools like SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
  
• Knowledge of ODOO software and Australian laws and practices.
  
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy.
