Financial Controller

Desired Experience/ Qualifications:

11 to 15 years of relevant experience , preferred to have renewable industry experience

Qualified CPA.

Knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS and nice to have US GAAP knowledge

Good to have knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or any other cloud-based accounting software.

Must be good with Excel and PowerPoint

Effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of a diverse and global organization.

Self-directed with a focus on process/continuous improvement and excellent organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Controllership

Lead comprehensive Accounting and Finance functions for Philippine entities, ensuring seamless operations from end to end

Supervise day-to-day accounting activities and manage the annual audit process for PH entities

Managing Direct Tax and Indirect Tax compliances

Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner

Reporting and Compliance of relevant financial documents and disclosures to the local government agencies such as the SEC, the BIR and any project-related requirements pertaining to financial information.

Meet with government agencies such as the DOE, BOI, SEC and BOI where required.

FP&A

Offer strategic input and assistance for annual budgeting and periodic forecasts

Exercising strict budgetary control, variance analysis, analysing the financial viability of new initiatives and forecasting the amount of finance required, endowing expert advice regarding cross functional issues.

Prepare detailed cash balance reports and provide expert guidance on cross-functional financial matters and share with the leadership team.

Preparing and publishing reports as per JV partnership requirements.
