Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include overseeing the accounting department, preparing financial statements and reports, analyzing financial data, implementing internal controls, and providing guidance and support to the finance team. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
- Implement and maintain internal controls and Risk Management
- Financial Strategy and Business Planning
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
- Monitor and optimize cash flow
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, US Taxation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
