Job Description

  • Assist in the supervision of the work of the field personnel, daily operations, maintenance, and security of the office, and in the implementation of activities/programs/projects in the area of responsibility.

  • Assist in formulating and interpreting administrative Policies of the field office operations and administration of veterans benefits.

  • Assist in the formulation and recommendation of a plan concerning technical and professional assistance to veterans benefits and administration of Pensioner's Update Form in line with the Validation Program;

  • Pre-evaluate filed claims based on existing rules and regulations, verify the claimant's identity, the authenticity of documents submitted, and validity of claims, and pre-evaluate the Pensioner's Update Form compliances and other documentary requirements in line with the validation program of the agency.

  • Conduct home visits/spot verifications/investigations of pensioners in the area of jurisdiction and prepare reports relative thereto.

  • Assist in monitoring the status of student wards under the Educational Benefits Program and visit and/or represent PVAO to schools where educational benefits students are enrolled.

  • Assist in monitoring the compliance of accredited hospitals to signed MOA under the VHMCP program.

  • Coordinate with various partner banks/financial institutions, partner schools, partner hospitals & other local agencies, and stakeholders related to veterans affairs and welfare.

  • Assist in monitoring pensioner's status in coordination with the Local Civil Registrar, Regional PSA, Office of the Senior Citizen's Affairs, and veterans organizations.

  • Assist the Head of the FSO to represent PVAO in meetings with the VFP and other veterans organizations and other local commemorative events.

  • Disseminates information, office policies for the administration of veterans benefits to the veterans and their dependents.

  • Perform other related work activities that may be assigned from time to time by the Head, FSO, and other officials.

    Job Type: Permanent

    Pay: Php23,000.00 - Php23,176.00 per month
