Job Description

Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Commercial Business Analyst who can work with us full-time and on-site!

Where Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu

Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

Analyse commercial performance data to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers impacting business outcomes.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using BI tools - Looker (Google version for PowerBI)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reporting solutions.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to support strategic initiatives and address specific business questions.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, profitability, and market share.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains to optimise commercial performance.

Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decision-making.
Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting platforms.
We would need you to be or have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on commercial performance analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and visualization using BI tools

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, and macros, and a focus on financial modelling and analysis.

Solid understanding of commercial concepts
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
