Position Overview:
The Finance Staff member will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various tasks related to financial reporting, analysis, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Accounting Support: Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by gathering and analyzing data.
Expense Management: Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into the accounting software and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting data.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with company policies, legal regulations, and accounting standards.
Reporting: Generate reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing financial performance and highlighting key metrics.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience: Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience with QuickBooks, SAP is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Certifications: CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications preferred but not required.
