Provide leadership, direction and coordination of operational activities within the Financial Reporting team, including meeting SLAs, people management, driving change and optimize service delivery.
Manage the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records in accordance with internal procedures and statutory requirements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines
Managed the production of accurate financial returns required by internal and external bodies and regulators to meet reporting deadlines
Work with stakeholders to maximize opportunities, and achieve operations and service targets
Perform high complexity tasks which includes 2nd level review functions or highly critical reviews that directly impacts the group's financials
Identify opportunities to increase turn around time and increase customer retention
Initiate meetings with the team and stakeholders on updates and alignment
Meet service level agreement requirements
Review reports on performance metrices prepared by the team
Prepare and develop action plans to ensure consistent performance and focused development of all team members
