To perform accounting and reporting activities ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data, and to liaise with external and internal customers to formulate and implement policy.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure compliance on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures.
Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
Ensure all processes are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations
Work with stakeholders to maximize opportunities, minimize expenses and achieve operational and service targets
Implement assigned policies and procedures
Perform data preparation and basic data management on Group, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting processes including design, development, implementation and process improvement activities
Timely and accurate delivery and maintenance of accurate reports and accounts, financial returns, as required
Manage the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records, reports and accounts, financial returns, as required
Support ad hoc requests in addition to primary responsibilities
Serves as a single point of contact for Counterparts, Consultants and Internal and External Audit teams
Deliver accurate financial reporting metrics by analyzing financial data, performing complex data entry, verifying accuracy and collaborating with senior leadership as needed
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
3 years relevant experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
Must be a Certified Public Account (CPA)

Knowledge of appropriate regulatory/statutory frameworks and how they impact on the insurance sectors is preferred
Good knowledge of relevant software and tools is preferred
Advanced knowledge of Organizational Accounting Procedures
Thorough understanding of Best Practice in Accounting
Extensive Knowledge of General Insurance Terminologies, Accounts and Class of Business
