Hiring post: Finance Officer
Hours: 9 hours daily
Shift: 9:00PM to 6:00AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, including transaction recording, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers or clients promptly and accurately.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including aging reports and customer balances.
- Collaborate with operations teams to address customer inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns.
2. Financial Transaction Recording:
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and efficiently in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date chart of accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents with QuickBooks records.
- Track and monitor revenue streams, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
3. Disbursements and Payroll:
- Process and verify disbursements, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense reimbursements.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and other team members on attendance keeping and payroll processing.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate financial reports using QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet features, such as pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting, to analyze financial data.
- Import and export data between accounting software and spreadsheets as needed.
5. Collaboration and Compliance:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proficient in working with spreadsheets, particularly Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and analysis.
- Willingness to work on-site and during a graveyard shift.
