Our client is a swiss-indian agriculture technology, a B2B e-commerce platform, connecting retailers and buyers with global farmers and sellers. Operating since 2020 in India, Switzerland, China, Dubai, Turkey and Philippines.
We are seeking a skilled finance professional with expertise in agri trade to join our team. The individual will play a key role overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, with a focus on partnering with business operations, banking, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payables & receivables management and financial reporting- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the organization
Actively partner with business team to identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate exposure including freight, vendor management, etc
Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards- Provide accurate and timely financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders
Preparation and audit of annual financial statements
CPE
- Proven experience of 3-4 years in similar mid level roles, with at least 3-4 years of experience
Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting ERPs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
