Job Summary:
Oversee the timely preparation of internal and external financial reports for overseas branches (except NAM). Review financial reports as to accuracy and compliance with reporting standards and policies. Ensure compliance with statutory and reportorial requirements. Provides assistance to International Ops and Backroom, as needed. Ensure KPIs and department plan are met. Coordinates with auditors/ local accountants and tax agents during reporting and tax season and as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews all financial reports and supporting schedules and provides insight to the VP/Management, and recommendation as to analysis conducted with close coordination with Section Head- General Accounting.
- Ensures compliance with statutory, tax and accounting requirements of overseas branches.
- Closely coordinates with the Business Partner of Finance and other Business partners in the Shared Services unit.
- Conducts random audit of work in the team and makes recommendations for improvements within the team.
- Ensures proper controls are in place and sets this up for every new start-up origin.
- Recommends for process improvements/innovations within the scope of work.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor of Science inAccountancy.
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
- With at least 5 years extensive experience in GL preparation, financial reporting and consolidation.
- Keen attention to details.
- Pro-Active and analytical.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Abreast with statutory requirements in the countries where LBC has presence.
- Mature sense of disposition and professional judgment.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications and MSOffice.
- System Administrator of Accounting Software being used (SAP and MYOB)
