Finance Manager to join our team!

- How you'll make an impact
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance function and drives financial efficiency, accuracy and compliance across the business.
Own the general ledger and financial control- Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including overseeing debtor collection processes and escalation procedures
Ensure tax compliance with all relevant Australian and NZ legislation
- Oversee payroll for our client's head office employees
Provide technical accounting expertise when required- Manage short-term cash flow, including monthly forecasting. Safeguard continuity of available funds by ensuring compliance with the working capital provider's requirements
Develop and implement our client's transfer pricing policies
- Build best practice financial models to quickly and accurately provide insights at a customer and industry level
Manage and oversee timely and accurate month-end completion, including ownership of consolidated and entity financial information
- Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, including providing insightful commentary
Lead the annual audit process, prepare consolidated financial statements, and own the relationship with the external auditors
Blend insights from external macro-economic factors with company strategy and constraints to develop and implement the finance team strategies- Maintain and continuously optimise finance processes
Work across the wider business to perform root cause analysis on problems relating to finance and implement controls, checks and process improvements
- Utilising technology to automate manual processes
Provide insight to senior leadership to improve profitability and manage risks
Responsible for overall people management of your team, including the ongoing performance management, professional skills development and career progression of the team- Ensure effective communication within the business unit and with the Senior Leadership Team

- Ability to multitask, prioritise and delegate responsibilities
Thorough technical knowledge of accounting principles and procedures- Expert problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision-maker
Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a can-do attitude
Must be a suitably qualified Accountant with strong current Technical Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the delivery of the core accounting functions and governance frameworks- Experience working with an Australian Business
Technology industry experiences a distinct advantage
