Your Mission: As our Finance Manager, PH Controllership, based in Binan, Laguna and reporting to the Director, SPMY & APAC Controller , your role will be pivotal and will be accountable for the overall management of the Philippine entities finance and accounting activities. Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, establish and maintain internal controls, procedures, and guidelines for reviewing transactions that comply with GAAP and PFRS, and ensure financial records remain accurate while meeting reporting deadlines. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of Accounting and Tax activities including financial reporting tax filing and year-end audit preparation.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

  • Review monthly finance reports, including monthly journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with the accounting standard, SOX, policies, and procedures, and mitigate potential risks and improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Review the statutory filing, business statistics and other statutory reports to ensure compliance with local government regulations and timelines.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasts within the stipulated deadlines
  • Review quarterly transfer pricing calculation and forecast for the bridge of US GAAP and local statutory.
  • Oversee account receivables and treasury-related activities not limited to intercompany collection, investments, and cash flow forecast.
  • Review the Tax filing returns, monthly VAT, FBT, WHT and related schedules to the Bureau of Internal Revenue
  • Monitor the Companys Tax Incentive application and compliance with government offices.
  • Drives/Participates in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization, achieving identified goals (financial, process, talent)

  • Graduate of bachelors degree, preferably Accountancy or any Finance-related course
  • At least 8 years of finance and accounting experience with sound knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a diverse culture
  • Operating knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.

It Would Be Nice If You Have

  • CPA License or post-graduate degree
  • Exposure to SOX environment
