I.JOB PURPOSEThe Finance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling all activities related to the finance function which includes investments and their rates, preparation of financial statements, cash management, credit management, implementation of financial control and auditing to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organization.
- II.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulates and implements proper cash management programs according to requirements of the Company.
- Prepares and monitors regular operational cash flow requirements of the Company.
- Reviews and recommends for adjustment credit line facilities with banks to ensure the continued operation of the various business of the Company.
- Ensures prompt, correct, timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and its supporting schedules and other financial reports.
- Conducts/analyzes/reviews special assignments to include costings, budgeting, feasibility studies, and cost benefit analysis, systems and procedures, internal control systems, etc.
- Submits to immediate superior monthly department performance reports based on KRA, budgets, indicating activities done.
- Monitors the proper implementation of the Company's credit and collection policies.
- Represents the Company with the BIR, Bureau of Customs and other government agencies.
- Ensures work progress by monitoring and controlling personnel activities through performance measurements and evaluation, enforcement of discipline and personnel counseling.
- Communicates to immediate superior any problem encountered in the execution of duty and suggest possible solution that maybe thought of.
- Ensures that safety rules, proper etiquette, good housekeeping and Company policies are being observed and institutes disciplinary measures among his subordinates when established rules and regulations are being violated.
- Observes Company policies, safety rules, proper work ethics and behavior at all times.
- Practices good housekeeping procedures on daily tools, equipment and work area.
