- Job Title: Finance Manager
Leads the General Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax and Compliance, and Treasury functions of the company.
Supports management planning and decision-making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating
information; and recommending actions.
Defines financial situation by completing quantitative analyses.
Ensures timely reporting of company's financial status especially its profitability and liquidity.
Evaluates optional plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns.
Values assets by appraising current condition; assessing potential.
Recommends debt structures by analyzing refinancing options.
Builds financial database by identifying sources of information; assembling, verifying, and backing up data.
Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Validates, challenges, consolidates and submits the 3-year mid-term plan, annual budget, and 18-month rolling forecasts to the Management team for the mid-term plan, budget, and forecast preparation
Performs advisory or consulting role by providing financial analysis (e.g. sensitivity analysis, etc.), opinions, and recommendations cleared with the Manufacturing and CAPEX Controller), for management decisions to improve business performance
Assesses CAPEX investment plans and ensures the existence of robust CAPEX controlling processes and procedures in their area of responsibility
Overseeing Bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple company financial transactions and ensure all project recording and treatment (including booking/revenue, costs but not limited to them) are in line with relevant policies, LOA and processes
Studies and understands company's current financial and accounting policies and procedures, documenting them and making recommendations and developing procedures when necessary
Gather, classify, analyze, and assess the financial effect of source documents and information of different company transactions
Ensure timely submission of financial reports and schedules weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
Liaise with external auditors for audit compliance work quarterly and annually
Reconcile all accounts to ensure high accuracy
Generate periodic financial reports from the accounting system.
Assist other department in providing accounts data for reporting purposes
Monitors company funds conscientiously at all times
Ensures that standardized controls and business processes are in place and operating as intended to safeguard the company's financial assets within the area of responsibility.
Ensure employee compensations are computed correctly and paid out on time.
Oversee inventory levels and communicate desired sell-in and sell-out to the respective product division head
Leads the mid-term planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting processes for both revenue and cost centers
Organizes and executes inter-departmental collaboration processes to ensure a systematic approach in the execution of the planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Work closely with business leaders to provide needed financial counsel and support for decision making, and in-depth financial and operational analysis to drive profitable and sustainable business growth and operation productivity improvement.
Support other ad hoc financial professional tasks and projects in the organization.
Reports to the Board of Director for Finance and administratively with the Managing Director
Leads a team of five young and driven finance professionals
