Collate all financial records from various departments and perform reconciliation- Manage P&L statements and make actionable recommendations to the management team to maintain the company's healthy financial standing as necessary
Create, maintain and improve processes that enable customer collections and vendor remittances
- Work w/ external parties to (1) coordinate remittances & handle any potential variance discussions, and (2) work w/ financial system vendors to continually optimize systems processes.
Forecast potential financial risks and unnecessary exposures, and create a mitigation plan- Answer to queries on accounting-related concerns pertinent to the company's operations
Evaluate budget requests from different departments and approve or reject them accordingly
- Ensure accounting activities and internal audits are compliant to local financial regulations
File for government-mandated contributions, such as BIR and AMLC
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in accounting or finance or similarly natured roles, on a managerial level
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in financial-related fields from a well-respected university- Experience working in startups is preferred, but not required
Experience in external client relationships w/ recurring payment remittances would be advantageous
- Experience working in an Energy distribution, Utilities, Solar Energy distribution, or Automotive industry is advantageous.
Experience in handling teams would be advantageous Key Competencies- In-depth knowledge of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping
