- Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)
Role Description
The Finance Executive will provide a high level of effective and efficient Accounts Payable (AP) services. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure payments and query resolutions are consistently delivered to a high standard. The role also requires working with relevant stakeholders within Kantar and Third party vendors/suppliers.
- Key Responsibilities & Capabilities:
Perform AP related duties in accordance with the cyclical calendar for processing supplier invoices, employee related expense claims and third party payments
Prepare EFTs and manage payment of suppliers in accordance with payment terms
Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice discrepancies in a professional manner
Deliver a high standard of customer service to internal Kantar customers and external suppliers
Produce monthly AP reconciliation reports and ensure these reconcile to supplier statements if required
Assist with month end closing reports and reconciliations
Identify and communicate process and/or workflow improvement opportunities and opportunities for automation of processes
Write and regularly review process documentation and/or provide feedback and assistance with documentation
Attend team and other meetings
Role Requirements
Essential
1-2 years relevant experience in Accounts Payable
Strong people interaction and relationship building skills
Sound data entry and administration experience
Advanced MS Office skills, with high degree of confidence in MS Excel
Experience using financial systems including ERP and electronic workflow solutions (Spectra PF and Maconomy desirable)
Working knowledge of AP principles, practices and regulations
Has knowledge and understanding of passing journals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and adaptable attitude amidst an environment of constant change
Desirable:
Financially-orientated qualification
Experience working in Maconomy / Spectra
Familiarity with account reconciliation
