THE POSITION: Finance and Administration Manager
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Manager to take ownership of the financial well-being for 1-2 entities within our company. You'll manage every aspect, from accurate bookkeeping, collections and payments to insightful reporting and ensuring compliance. This vital role demands a proactive approach and collaboration with other team members for group-wide functions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Supervise and guide a team of Finance Executives to:
- Maintain accurate records for all assigned entities, including daily transactions, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, verify payments through bank statements, and manage collections effectively to reach collection targets.
- Secure appropriate insurance coverage and manage risk mitigation strategies for your entrusted entities.
- Accurately manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Prepare timely and insightful financial reports for management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- Stay abreast of relevant financial regulations and implement necessary measures to maintain compliance for your entities.
- Submission of BIR reports (monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Supervise year-end financial audit
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring budget control whilst ensuring smooth running of financial operations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audits.
- Work closely with Chief Operations Officer (COO) in HQ to manage intercompany adjustments, group-wide reporting, and collections.
- Drive the implementation of company policies and initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally managing similar responsibilities for multiple entities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the entities assigned.
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant accounting software (e.g., ERP, accounting software)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement skills
- Good English communication skills
