Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATION

The position will be responsible in the day-to-day Finance and Admin operations. Reports directly to the President/Country Manager and dotted line to ProV US CFO.

Finance and Accounting Tasks:

  • Oversees the management of daily accounting services, financial reporting/forecast, cash forecast, invoicing and analysis, compliance to tax and other government agencies regulations.
  • Provides timely and accurate financial information required to assess the overall performance of the organization.
  • Ensures compliance with the statutory financial, tax and other regulatory reporting requirements including SEC, BIR, PEZA or related agencies.
  • Set-up and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard companys assets and resources.
  • Responsible for the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast based on set assumptions and parameters.
  • Handles the annual financial audit and other tax assessment related matters.

Admin Tasks:

  • Oversees the smooth flow of the companys various administration processes, which include office administration, repairs and maintenance, property management, janitorial and security personnel supervision.
  • Ensures compliance of all required permits such as business permits, office and building permits from respective government agencies.
  • Set-up and maintain systems of internal controls on procurement, suppliers accreditation, and suppliers management.
  • Works closely with Project Managers in resolving clients related issues.
  • Other tasks that are to be assigned to by the President/Country Manager and/or CFO.

SKILLS REQUIRED & PREFERED

  • Minimum of 15 years experienced in finance and accounting with at least 5 years as manager.
  • Must be Certified Public Accountant with valid Accreditation in Commerce and Industry
  • Strong background of Philippine Taxation, PEZA and BOI requirements
  • With experience in handling BIR Audits.
  • Must know Philippine and US GAAP, IFRS and IAS
  • Excellent Communications skills.
  • Advance knowledge in Quick books or any Accounting System and MS Office
