Indo-Mindanao Resources Corporation, an authorized distributor of Indofood products (Indomie Mi Goreng instant noodle) in the Philippines, is looking for an Finance and Accounting Manager to be assigned in Davao City.
Indofood is the largest food manufacturing company in Indonesia and one of the largest instant noodle manufacturers in the world with its flagship product Indomie instant noodles.
Job Summary:
The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, managing the accounting staff, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting, including Taxation. This role requires a blend of leadership and interpersonal skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to ensure that the department operates efficiently and financial information is accurate and compliant with standards.
Requirements:
- Filipino with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- English proficiency for business, both written and oral.
- Proven experience in an accounting leadership role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Accounting Team: Lead, manage, and supervise accounting staff, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Assign tasks and projects, review work for accuracy, and provide training and support to the accounting team.
- Financial Reporting and Reconciliation: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; and advising management on needed actions. Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and execution of the budget process, providing insight and analysis to support business decisions. Monitor departmental budgets and conduct variance analyses to understand and explain differences.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department to increase efficiency and accuracy. Implement new systems and processes as needed.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial and operational audits. Ensure all supporting documentation and information is available and accurate.
- Taxation: Ensure the compliance with Tax regulation in the respective country
