Job descriptionQualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or any related.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)- 5 years experience in a related position
Managerial experience is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and identify discrepancies
Keen to details to maintain accuracy in records and financial reporting- Able to work under tight deadlines for management accounts/reporting
Meticulous, responsible, hands-on and able to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations,
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
