Qualifications:

Create silhouette
Understand the company target market and how to appeal to them
Be aware of the current trends and activities in design, in fashion, and culture
have good communication skills to present the ideas to the team

Understand background of brand and adapt the new trends to fit brand image

Duties and Responsibilities
A Fashion Designer is responsible for the entire design of piece of clothing. They should understand the principles of design and will work closely with design team. In addition, they should be able to apply this knowledge to creating aesthetically pleasing ang functional pieces. This will enable them to excel at their duties, which include the following:
Forecasting fashion trend and determining what consumers will like
Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
Conduct day to day product development activities particularly fit evaluation and construction review of all samples and discuss all adjustments with the supplier.
Overseeing the production of designs, including fittings, quick cost and communicating with suppliers.
Manage and maintain the PO as well as all Departmental files and sample.
