Monitor water quality parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity, and temperature.- Feed shrimp according to established schedules and monitor feeding efficiency.
Inspect and maintain equipment such as pumps, filters, and aeration systems.
- Handle and implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
Manage waste removal systems and ensure proper disposal.- Conduct regular inspections of shrimp health and behavior.
Record daily activities, observations, and measurements.
- Compile data on growth rates, mortality rates, and feed conversion ratios
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in aquaculture, marine biology, fisheries, or a related field is typically required.
Previous experience in aquaculture, particularly in shrimp farming, is highly desirable.- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to daily tasks.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
