Job Description
Responsibilities For This Position Include
Experience with electronic bench-test equipment - oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, TDR, BERT, pulse and signal generators, power supplies, DC source/measure
Quality and Project Management
Claim Administration
Data Analysis / quality reporting
Debugging and writing procedures and methodologies related to failures in production and field returns
Monitoring all hardware and correlating them to earlier identified problems in production and in field returns
New product failure characterization and test correlation
Monitoring test stability and production yield
Organize and manage complex FA projects
Train and support lab technicians with test methods and techniques, and data gathering
Requirements
BS/BA with 4+ years of related experience or MS/MA with 2+ years of related experience
Familiarity with failure analysis and RMA processes
Experience with R&D lab tests and equipment - Advantage
What are the minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree from a four year university in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science
failure analysis to include but not limited to, PCB failures, component failures, solder joint failure analysis, and contamination analysis
