Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
Runs troubleshooting programs on the building's heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, immediately cascade problem to contractor or equipment supplier if repairs fail to address technical issues
Resolve issues that arise in order to keep both building maintenance activities running smoothly or take care of any repairs needed on-site if there's an emergency
Organize, supervise, and direct maintenance workers. Lead and motivate the team and delegate task accordingly
Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance
Recommend budget items, contributing to the development of annual maintenance budget
Manage and maintain a preventive maintenance system to keep all day-to-day operations running smoothly
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Monitor all building systems, equipment, and facilities in their charge operate at peak efficiency
Performs inspections on all building systems- electrical, water, and mechanical and implements timely repairs so that the operation of the company is not impaired
I. People Management
Prepare weekly schedules for allocating work as per forecasted workloads and employ employee that can be assigned tasks accordingly to make sure deadlines are met with accuracy
Train new building maintenance technicians on the job and provided ongoing support and guidance. Assign work tasks to building maintenance technicians and monitor their progress
Develop and enforce safety standards and procedures in the workplace. Maintain accurate records and documentation of building maintenance operations
Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions. Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures
