Our client is a general dental practice based in the USA, dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to patients. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote General Dental Office Assistant, with experience working for a US-based general dental practice, to join our team and support our administrative operations. This position is based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities
Perform a full breakdown of benefits, including frequencies, deductibles, and coverage limits.
- Verify patient treatment history, including ortho and oral surgery benefits.
Follow up on pending claims and resolve unpaid claims with missing information.
- Handle preauthorizations, denials, and appeals by providing necessary documentation.
Update the fee schedule for all in-network plans for our new location in the Practice Management Software (PMS), Open Dental.
- Insurance Payments Posting
Post insurance payments and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
- Review and write off any discrepancies.
Contact patients with pending treatment plans to schedule or follow up.
- Maintain and update the recall/hygiene system for regular patient visits.
Convert consent forms and new patient registration forms into easy-to-fill digital versions for iPads or email links.
- Emphasize the importance of detailed health history in the forms.
Generate and send monthly statements to patients on the 5th of every month.
Answer phones during business hours and manage the after-hours answering system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental office administration is highly preferred.
Proficiency in using Practice Management Software, especially Open Dental.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
High attention to detail and accuracy.- Knowledge of dental insurance processes and terminology.
