Great opportunity to demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision making skills. Deliver all services within the firm's Business Principles. Execute workflows to deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of all JPMC internal and external clients.

As a Conference Center Meeting Planner within our team, you will be responsible for arranging internal meetings, acting as the single point of contact for the client, engaging event partners as needed, and supervising staff to exceed client expectations. This role provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and to deliver high-quality services in line with our firm's Business Principles. You will also have the chance to work closely with internal partners in reception, catering, audio visual, security, and facilities to meet the clients expectations.

Job responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan meetings and events within designated center. Work with internal partners in reception, catering, audio visual, security, and facilities to meet the clients expectations. Meet and greet each client daily, provide personalized high touch customer service .
  • Adhere to standards of operations established for Conference Center
  • Handle day to day challenges with a proactive approach
  • Ensure maximum utilization of space to achieve yearly utilization goals
  • Maintain a professional, flexible, can-do level of service
  • Participate in daily operations meeting as well as weekly review
  • Execute pre conference call/meeting, and post conference call/meeting when applicable
  • Manage space issues, escalate unresolved issues to manager
  • Cover reception desk essential functions answering telephone calls, returning emails promptly as required
  • Prepare daily reports related to the operations and KPIs of the Conference Center
  • Master usage of EMS (Event Management System) to detail reservations, review in-coming requests and present proper reports

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Three (3) plus years of experience in 5-star hotels specializing in Food and Beverage Event Planning with high touch customer service
  • Effectively manage guest experience and expectations through a high level of tact, poise, and diplomacy
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and apply judgment to priorities
  • Strong grasp and understanding of conference center food and beverage menu
  • Working knowledge of audio visual systems , event layouts, ingress and egress scheduling , supplier/vendor management
  • Flexibility to deal with a fast-paced, diverse environment
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts covering conference center hours and different locations

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • MS Office skills, knowledge of EMS booking system (a plus), Social Tables
