Uma Nota Restaurant is seeking an experienced Events and Sales Manager to oversee all aspects of event planning, coordination, and sales initiatives. The Events and Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the successful execution of private events, parties, and group bookings while upholding the restaurant's brand and standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive event bookings and increase sales revenue.
Actively promote and market the restaurant's event spaces and capabilities to potential clients, including corporate groups, private parties, and special occasions.- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate clients, wedding planners, and other potential partners to generate leads and referrals.
Respond to inquiries, conduct site tours, and provide information to prospective clients to showcase the restaurant's event offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized event menus and packages tailored to clients preferences and budget requirements.
Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including event logistics, staffing, setup, and breakdown.- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between the restaurant staff and clients throughout the event planning process.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage event budgets, expenses, and revenue projections to meet sales targets and financial goals.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, payments, and other relevant information using the restaurant's CRM system.- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients before, during, and after events to ensure a memorable and successful experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, digital content, and social media campaigns to attract new clients and promote upcoming events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality management, with a track record of successful event execution and sales achievement.- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and vendors.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the restaurant's offerings and value proposition.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using CRM software for sales and client management.- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies to attract clients.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
