Main RoleThe ERP Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, ERP systems, and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions.
- ERP Implementation and Support:
Lead and participate in the implementation of ERP systems- Configure and customize ERP solutions to align with business requirements
Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ERP systems
- Business Process Analysis:
Analyze and document business processes and requirements
- Work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement within the ERP system
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency
Integrate ERP systems with other internal and external systems- Ensure seamless data flow between ERP and other systems
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
- Training and Documentation:
Create and maintain user manuals and system documentation
- Train end-users on ERP system functionalities and best practices
Conduct workshops and training sessions as required
Ensure data integrity and consistency within the ERP system- Perform regular data audits and clean-ups
Develop and enforce data governance policies
Provide technical support to ERP system users
- Diagnose and resolve system issues in a timely manner
Work with ERP vendors for advanced troubleshooting and support
Manage ERP-related projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, support, and administration
Experience with specific ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or others- Proficiency in SQL and database management
Familiarity with programming languages and ERP configuration tools
- Understanding of system integration and API management
Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Certified Professional)
Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools
Experience in change management and training
- Occasional travel may be required for training and project implementation
