Job Summary:Handles and efficiently operates Ground Support Equipment by the manufacturer and customer airline(s) requirements to ensure safe and secure operations.
- Role Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe operation of the equipment assigned.
- Conducts equipment physical and operational checks, accomplishes checklist, and ensures good operational condition upon acceptance
Tows all cargo and baggage pushcarts to and from the cargo warehouse and baggage build-up area.- Ensures that the cargo towed-out is accepted by the DS-Ramp assigned at the planes
Safely operates and connects the Ground Services Equipment to the aircraft
- Performs the required brake checks before approaching the aircraft
After operations, safely parks the equipment to their respective parking areas, accomplishes checklist and complies with the proper turnover procedures.- Completes unloading/loading of baggage and cargo to/from the corresponding compartment within the prescribed time by the carrier.
Ensures proper usage and handling of all flight-related equipment (e.g. cones, chocks, air stairs/aviramp, ULD, tail stand, trolley, umbrella, etc.)
High school graduates are accepted for the role
- Must have active LTO Professional Driver's License (with 1,2 or 1,2,3 restriction code)
With at least 1 year of driving a 4wheel vehicle- Preferably with NBI (6 months validity)
