The
Environment, Health & Safety Manager will facilitate & prepare plans and direction to the organization in terms of EHS programs and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plant.
- Implement systems, procedures, and continuous improvements based on international standards and requirements.
Plan and prepare direction for target certification to external bodies on the Integrated Management System (IMS).- Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies (DENR, DOLE, LLDA, etc.).
Manage allocated budgets and facilitate expenditures for EHS requirements at the most reasonable costs.
- Implement actions and programs to prevent/reduce the occurrence of emergencies such as fire, explosion, or other man-made incidents.
Establish and regularly test emergency preparedness and response procedures to prevent/reduce the occurrence of accidents/incidents.- Abide by company policies, rules, and regulations on discipline, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, quality schemes, safety, and other related company policies.
Perform other job or expertise-related assignments to develop oneself and/or share expertise, contributing to operational efficiency.
A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical
- Must be a licensed Engineer and an accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Safety Offer (SO).
Must have experience in the food manufacturing industry- With at least 10 years of work related experience on environment & safety.
Must possess strong communication skills and presentation skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Danao, Cebu.
