Job Mission:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Manager will serve as the Business Partner and Knowledge Center for risk management at Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV), supporting the Risk Management Head in leading initiatives to identify, mitigate, and report risks to Senior Management and the Board. This role is essential in developing and maintaining risk frameworks, policies, and guidelines, and in implementing risk-based management systems across the Aboitiz Group.

What You Will Do:
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM) - GOVERNANCE
- Manages and follows through risk management frameworks, policies, guidelines, and standardization
- Leads group risk management steering committee, group strategic planning
- Develop and conduct the regular review of the Aboitiz ERM policies, procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with senior management to embed a strong risk culture throughout the organization
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM) - PROCESS MANAGEMENT
- Implement and manage the organization's risk management methodology, including risk identification, assessment, evaluation, and treatment
- Oversee the development and maintenance of risk registers and risk profiles
- Develop, monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk appetite, when applicable
RISK ASSESSMENT AND MITIGATION
- Work with CSU Risk Champions to conduct regular risk assessments, to identify and prioritize business and emerging risks
- Support CSUs in developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies & action plans
- Review and challenge CSU risk mitigation plans and controls
RISK REPORTING AND COMMUNICATION
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and the board of directors
- Communicate risk information effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Facilitate risk discussions and decision-making at various forums
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM) AUDIT AND ASSURANCE ACTIVITIES
- Oversee Enterprise Risk Management related audits and assurance activities (internal and external) for AEV
- Ensures that findings and/or recommendations are properly reviewed and implemented
RISK MANAGEMENT CULTURE
- Assist AEV Risk Head in the establishment of risk culture by embedding ERM practices in the company's day-to-day management; using levers such as communication, training, behavior and reward systems and governance to promote a consistent understanding of risk
- Develop and maintain an effective enterprise risk communication program for the organization, including promoting heightened awareness of all levels of evolving risk threats, and as appropriate, understanding of new and existing enterprise risk issues and related policies and procedures
STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNIT/BUSINESS UNIT PARTNER
- Serve as the liaison between the risk management team and the Business Units
- Act as the subject matter expert on Risk Management and risk
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduate of Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years of work experience in enterprise risk management, and/or strategic and operational risk management
- Risk Management ISO 31000 training or equivalent, such as, but not limited to: Professional Risk Manager (PRM), PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers International Association), Diploma in Risk Management, The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), RIMS (Risk Management Society), Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP), International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research
