As an Enterprise Documentation Specialist at servicePath, you will play a crucial role in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our enterprise SaaS software solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to gather and document business and technical requirements, processes, and procedures. Remote Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather detailed information about business processes, technical requirements, and product functionality.- Create comprehensive user guides, training materials, and other customer-facing documentation for delivered features and software updates.
Ensure documentation adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for user experience (UX).
- Work closely with the implementation team to ensure all new features and implementations are documented in a usable and absorbable format, including converting video content into written documentation.
Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining a centralized knowledge base for internal and external stakeholders.- Manage documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
Regularly update and manage documentation repositories.
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback to continually improve documentation quality.
- Key Competency and Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical writing or documentation roles, preferably in the enterprise software or SaaS industry.- Proven experience in documenting complex business processes, workflows, and technical information for enterprise-level software solutions.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong understanding of best practices for creating user-friendly documentation.
Familiarity with CRM, CPQ, and Sales Management business systems is a plus.- Knowledge of technology and/or managed services industries is preferred.
Proficiency in documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems like Git.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
