To lead the shift operations in attending to the works in the apartment or public area.
- Report to his immediate supervisor which is the Assistant Engineering Manager (AEM) or Engineering Manager (EM).
Ensures and monitors implementation of Ascott's policies, standards, and procedures for but not limited to the following:- Fire and other Safety Program
Effective Preventive Maintenance
- Maintenance Planning and Schedules
Effective Routine Maintenance- Repair and Maintenance Programs and Procedures
Repair/Work Order Systems
- Inspections and staff supervision
Supervises the activities of staff under the rooms, repair and maintenance section.- Coordinates closely with other departments on the hotel's repair and maintenance program to achieve a well-maintained facility for guest satisfaction.
Schedules and implements 365 days preventive maintenance of all guestrooms.
- Schedules and implements 365 days preventive maintenance of all public area furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Determines through proper programming and scheduling, routine and preventive maintenance schedules and assures their implementation.- Investigates and recommends sources when local purchasing of contract services, equipment, parts and supplies for the Department is required; also monitors and controls Contractor activities.
