Assist management in direct oversight of department's daily operation.
Involve in department's routine operations by handling repairs and assisting management with administrative duties.
Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization.
Develop and maintain relations with Engineering Manager, manufacturing, quality and maintenance departments on manufacturing concerns.
Ensure accident estimates are prepared promptly, repairs are done timely and liaise with surveyor.
Perform and record machine tool capability studies.
Provide regular updates and reports on project status, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
Leading and mentoring engineering staff, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and providing guidance.
Offering technical expertise and problem solving support to resolve complex engineering issues.
Identify and debug for production problems as needed.

Participate in assigned long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects.
Qualifications:*
Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required.
Proven experience in Engineering with supervisory or managerial role.
Strong technical expertise in relevant engineering disciplines and proficiency with engineering tools and software. Knowledge of current industry standards and technologies is also important.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of engineers.
Understanding of relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry practices to ensure compliance in engineering projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve complex engineering issues and challenges.
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or other relevant certification is an advantage.
