Engineering Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares technical requirements/construction methodologies and preliminaries based on scope of work.
• Conducts time and motion study in every aspect of civil works activities to improve productivity.
• Identifies and quantifies manpower, materials and equipment utilization.
• Monitors and evaluates productivity and progress reports.
• Resolve design problems and initiates design changes as necessary to support the work schedule.
• Updates the use of modern tools/equipment in civil works activities or improve quality and productivity.
• Ensures compliance with the Safety, Quality and Productivity Standards of EEI.
• Evaluate operations and processes.
• Research the environmental impact of projects and incorporate eco-friendly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
• Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes. Engage with the sales (commercial and marketing) team, customers, and other stakeholders to define the project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Write proposals in response to customer RFPs/RFIs that are compliant with all requirements, including page limits and formatting guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, and sales, to gather input and feedback on proposals.
• Ensure all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and capabilities..
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure proposals are competitive.

Qualifications:

Education: Civil Supervisor needs a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Civil / Structural Engineering with background or experience in using Engineering software like AutoCad, Sketch-Up, and the likes.

Training & Experience: Civil Supervisor typically receive on-the-job training once they are hired. This training may last for a few months and may include shadowing an experienced Project Proposal team.

Certifications & Licenses: Civil Supervisor should be an Engineering Board Passer.
