Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures all works and compliances required from both Power Trading and Billing & Settlement teams are performed smoothly.
Coordinates and guides all plant trading staff for efficient and consolidated capacity & pricing offers both for ASPA & WESM markets.
Leads periodic detailed billing reconciliation with NGCP, which requires technical and financial review and deliberation to ensure proper consideration of claims and accurate computations.
Ensures accurate monthly power dispatch analysis of SPC/SIPC Plants that leads to substantial additional claims on Must Run Units (MRU), Administered Price (AP), Secondary Price Cap (SEC), & Real-Time Dispatch (RTD) from PEMC.
Represents SPC/SIPC in meetings & with DOE, ERC, NGCP, PEMC & GMC.
Represents SPC/SIPC to PEMC on call pending claims for additional payments & compliance submissions.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by our immediate supervisors from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Engineering Program (preferably Electrical/Industrial Engineering or other similar fields); or Graduate of Accounting Program or other related fields.
At least 2 years of exposure in Power Trading and Billing & Settlement activities of Power Generation Companies.
Proficient in computer use.
