Job Description
The Engineer Services Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the capital program at C.A. by employing top-tier engineering practices and adhering to company standards regarding Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety (EOHS), quality, Financial Performance and Responsibility (FP&R), and financial regulations. This position involves managing and coordinating projects based on the requirements of the Engineering and Services department while ensuring the smooth operation of all company services.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the Engineering and Services department across C.A. countries.
Manage and coordinate the Capital Expenditure Budget (CEB) to accomplish project objectives tailored to the needs of C.A. countries.
Provide guidance to Project Engineers, Service Engineers, and Plant System Engineers, overseeing their training and professional advancement.
Monitor and ensure the proper operation and maintenance of utility systems (e.g., water, steam, compressed air, cooling, air conditioning, electricity), as well as the upkeep of buildings and general plant areas.
Ensure adherence to Quality, EOHS, and FP&R standards in all project developments.
Oversee the management of the company's assets (equipment), including monthly capitalizations and quarterly asset identification.
Efficiently manage contractors, from their selection to the execution of assigned tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
Proficiency in English language (minimum 80%).
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
Strong understanding of unit operations, engineering principles, and process control.
Knowledgeable about Quality, EOHS, and FP&R standards.
Familiarity with process control and automation.
Competence in project management and personnel supervision.
Proficiency in Project Management Software (e.g., Gantt, Pert).
