Education and/or Experience: - Graduate of Political Science, Legal Management, Human Resources Management, Psychology or any other related courses.
With at least six (6) years related experience in Employee and Labor Relations, Paralegal, and/or other Human Resources general services/functions.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general data reports, manuals, technical procedures, etc.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Responsible for both employee engagement & discipline. Coordinates with respective units and committees in the implementation of employee engagement programs such as rewards and recognition programs, company-wide social activities and corporate social responsibility/charity programs. Handle employee relations and discipline issues; track and issue appropriate corrective actions to employee non-compliance to company policies; guide Operations in handling employee issues.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with company's internal and external customers/clients and employees.
- Acting as a consultant to line managers on the implementation of company policies.
Assisting in the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases, including acting as an arbiter between the employee and line manager.- Advising department officers on the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to discipline and other disputes involving employee behavior and welfare.
Ensures company compliance with working conditions prescribed by law.
- Providing accurate advice on issues arising from employment contracts and legislation.
Ensures that the workforce is aware of company policies, mandates, directives, and activities through HR portals, bulletins, orientations, and seminars.- Ensuring that grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings are carried out in line with company policy and national legislation.
Assists in follow-up investigations and may personally participate in investigations, including the routine gathering of evidence and questioning of witnesses.
- Prepares reports of separated employees and process exit clearances.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with employees, managers, and external providers.- Work with Department Leaders in developing department specific programs.
Ensures that the employee engagement calendar is deployed as planned (proposal, comms, execution & liquidation).
- Ensures that expenses are within the approved budget.
Introduces from traditional to out of the box initiatives and methods wherein it is interactive and innovative.- Partners with different departments, enhancing current process/program into a digitally enhanced way.
Introduces improvement in the current processes within the department that will impact Employee Services.
- Execution of approved plans and programs approved by Management for company events.
Other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary in the operations of the HR department.
