Job Title: Embroidery Digitizer
Job Summary:
The Embroidery Digitizer is responsible for transforming a design or logo into a digital embroidery file that can be used by embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and creative problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digitize designs using specialized embroidery software, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and optimal stitch counts for each design.
Modify designs as necessary, based on customer feedback or design specifications, and provide recommendations for design enhancements.- Collaborate with clients, sales representatives, and production teams to ensure that design requirements and timelines are met.
Manage and organize a high volume of design files, ensuring that files are properly labeled and stored.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to digitizing, including thread breakage, design distortions, and machine malfunctions.
Keep abreast of the latest embroidery digitizing software, trends, and techniques to ensure the highest quality output.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in embroidery digitizing required.
- Strong technical proficiency with embroidery digitizing software, including Wilcom or Pulse, and knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to embroidery digitizing and machines.
Physical Requirements:
- This position may require extended periods of sitting and standing.
May require some lifting of supplies or materials.- May require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed embroidery work.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily performed in a professional office or production environment.
May require some work outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
