Description
The Role:
- Contribute to and execute on the design, development, and implementation of the enterprise security strategy
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of enterprise email systems
- Design, develop, and implement email security solutions to meet business needs
- Respond to and troubleshoot email security and availability events
- Collaborate with internal security teams to investigate and respond to incidents involving email
- Monitor and analyze email traffic
- Contribute to and enforce email security policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide subject matter expertise and email security best practices to stakeholders
- Stay current with the latest email security threats and technologies
Qualifications
The Requirements:
- Excellent hands-on experience and understanding of Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 with strong focus on email security
- Excellent hands-on experience with email authentication, anti-spam, anti-phish, anti-malware, safe attachments
- In-depth knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC and encryption technologies
- Experience with third-party services for email authentication and secure email relay (Valimail, SendGrid, Proofpoint, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize email security and deliverability
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology strongly preferred, or relevant industry experience in related field
- Minimum 7 years enterprise information technology or email security experience
- Technical management experience of Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Operations experience including incident, change & problem management principles
- Technical / professional qualifications: MS-102, SC-200
- Experience in working in collaborative environment
- Strong conceptual and creative skills
- Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills for refining existing concepts or developing new approaches
- Ability to enable changes in the business processes and ability to work cooperatively with stakeholders and peers is essential.
- Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
- Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift.
