Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This role involves teaching a diverse curriculum, including
English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and other foundational subjects to students in grades 1 through The teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans that meet the educational needs of all students, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff and parents to enhance the educational experience.
Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Curriculum: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Assessments and Evaluations: Assess and record students progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment. Prepare and administer diverse assessment methods to monitor performance, behavior, and social development.
- Classroom Management: Create and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Parental Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding students progress and conduct. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide necessary support for student success.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best teaching practices, educational research, and instructional technology.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school administrators to implement the school's mission and support student success.
- Educational Technology Integration: Incorporate educational technology to enhance teaching and learning. This includes utilizing interactive whiteboards, tablets, and educational software to facilitate instruction.
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
Proven experience as an elementary teacher.- Strong knowledge of elementary educational practices, strategies, and national/state learning standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students and manage classroom dynamics.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
