Executing electrical plans for effective & well-functioning of the following but not limited to general power & lighting, lighting control system etc.
Read technical diagrams and plans
Prepare, bend, cut & install electrical conduit, cable trunking and trays as per approved plan.
Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Repair or replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Perform electrical testing such as Insulation resistance, continuity, functional test etc.
Use of various testing devices/equipment to identify and report electrical problems.
Perform other related tasks as may be assigned

Qualifications

At least High School Graduate or has completion of relevant vocational/trade course
With National Certificate II (NCII) on Electrical Installation and Maintenance or Registered Master Electrician
Able to read electrical plans, schematics & single line diagram
Knowledgeable in using basic electrical test equipment.
With at least 2 years work experience in electrical installation/maintenance
Willing to be relocated
Willing to render overtime
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures on a construction site
